As a Fullstack Software Developer and Consultant at Macaw, I work within multidisciplinary Agile teams on complex, business-critical web applications for a range of clients. I contribute across the full software lifecycle, from requirements analysis and technical solution design to development, testing, deployment, maintenance, monitoring, and production support.

In my consultancy role, I work closely with clients, product owners, and other stakeholders to translate business needs into effective and maintainable technical solutions. I contribute to technical decision-making, investigate complex issues, and help ensure the quality, reliability, and long-term maintainability of the applications I work on.

My technical background is centered around C#/.NET and Sitecore, combined with modern frontend development using React, Next.js and TypeScript.

I was asked to return to VGZ as a Fullstack Software Developer to temporarily strengthen the development team working on its .NET and Sitecore platform.

I contribute across the frontend development alongside backend development, maintenance, monitoring, and production support. Within a multidisciplinary Agile team, I work on new functionality, technical improvements, application stability, and the continued development and maintainability of the platform.

For Volkswagen Pon Financial Services, I contribute to the continuous development of a modern headless Sitecore platform supporting websites for multiple leasing products and brands.

I build reusable, responsive frontend components with React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Sass, translating Figma designs into scalable web experiences. I integrate frontend functionality with Sitecore content and data through GraphQL and Experience Edge, contribute to the delivery of new brand and leasing websites, and investigate bugs and integration issues.

For VGZ, I work as a Sitecore Backend Developer within a multidisciplinary Scrum team, contributing to the continuous development and maintenance of a .NET and Sitecore 10 platform supporting VGZ and several affiliated brands, including ONVZ, IZZ, and IZA.

My work includes developing new functionality, implementing changes, and delivering technical improvements focused on platform efficiency, reliability, and maintainability. Through weekly releases, I help translate business objectives and strategic priorities into robust technical solutions.

For Smurfit Kappa, I worked as a Software Developer within a Scrum team on the continuous development and maintenance of an international .NET and Sitecore 9.3 platform running as a PaaS solution in Microsoft Azure.
I developed new functionality, including content management components and new websites within the platform, while also contributing to technical improvements through code refactoring, Sitecore module development, and performance and maintainability enhancements. In addition, I analysed traffic, errors, and performance data to resolve issues, improve platform stability, and help prevent availability problems.

For VWPFS FleetInformatie, I worked on a .NET and Sitecore 8 application used to provide fleet information, integrated with the MilesFleet back-office system and supported by automated SQL Agent Jobs.

My work focused on the data integration between MilesFleet and the FleetInformatie website. Using SSIS, data was imported and processed daily from a secure source to ensure up-to-date fleet information was available in the application. This gave me hands-on experience with SQL Server, SQL Agent Jobs, SSMS, SSIS, and data-driven integrations.

Three-month internship at bunq as part of the bachelor thesis at Delft University of Technology. Created a crowdsourced translation platform in a team of four computer science students. The platform enabled translations to be submitted, approved, and committed to the bunq apps' codebase to aid the company's globalisation goals.
